Allah subhanahu wa ta,ala says in the noble Qur'aan,  'And recite the Qur'aan with Tarteel.' (73:4)

When asked about the meaning of Tarteel,  Ali Ibn Abi Taalib (Radhiallaahu Anhu) replied, 'It means that the Qur'aan should be recited with Tajweed and with due observance to the rules of Waqf (pausing or stopping at the end of the verse).
So knowing where to stop and where to start from is very important which  makes this chapter one of the most important chapters of Tajweed and in this we will be covering up all different types of Waqf.
